In this seminar and debate evening a few things will happen: Ibiza Fenix will present the idea of the Ibiza Ecolandia Festival, to make a one day interactive outside event celebrated on Sunday the 27th of May 2018. Furthermore they will discuss more insightful sustainable input with regards to Event Management.

One which could be repeated at the beginning or end of each summer season, presenting the main projects involved of the Ibiza Fènix movement. This should also serve to promote a different worldwide image of Ibiza and help to stimulate a more sustainable future for this well-known magical island.

The festival, which could be seen as a shop window for all that is good in Ibiza, can unite both local government and business entities in a combined effort to attract a better quality tourism to the island. This can include emerging business offers like Eco-tourism, healthy lifestyle techniques, plus companies offering ecological products and services, such as Renewable Energy and Sustainable Transport, Natural Resource and Waste Management, Eco-Construction and Organic Farming, Natural Sports and Wellness programs, as well as non-government organizations working to improve the natural environment.

• Chris Dews is the founder and director of the model Ecological Centre at Casita Verde and the Ibiza Ecologic Association, the founder and main coordinator for Greenheart Ibiza, founder and president of the new Ibiza Fènix Association, plus local administrator for the Madrid based Foundation for the Future, as well as being an active member of many other ecological groups on the island.
• Giada Forneris is an Italian marketing specialist, presently employed by the Ibiza council to help attract a different style of tourism to the island, as well as founder and owner of the Ibiland blog company and one of the main players in the Ibiza Fènix development team.
• Dieke from Holland set up a beautiful web portal called Ibiza2love around three years ago and has made several successful events, which were very similar to the event we propose to make in May this year. For this reason Dieke will be the main events manager for the Ibiza Ecolandia Festival, which will join her own event ideas and experiences with ours, in perfect synchronicity.
