RESTYLING IBIZA?

We end these 2 months of Workshops & seminars with a nice kick-off of the season of 2018, on which we introduce of our new theme: “Restyling Ibiza”.

As we promised from the moment we opened - we'll continue with knowledge & inspiration throughout the year. Knowledge sessions are king, but we also like to engage with all of you even more and see how politics, influencers and entrepreneurs can help each-other in developing this island for the better. We will do this with a series of seminars, conferences and debates on the Restyling of Ibiza.

This year the Consell d’Eivissa has made it its number 1 mission to broaden the public opinion on activities on Ibiza and promote the diversity of attractive sides that our island has to offer. This means the season will last longer: the goal is 365 days per year! By doing this there will be many more reasons to come to Ibiza than solely the party scene.

The president of Tourism Vicente Torres Ferrer will introduce these plans to you on our event this Saturday and we also invited some other big names to introduce to you at this kick-off event: David Moss, from our positive newspaper: the Optimista, Ana Lui & Hjordis Fogelberg from the hands-on NGO Love Ibiza Now, Delia de Miguel Garcia from Es Wellness Ibiza the newest platform of the Consell Insular d'Eivissa to promote tourism and specifically entrepreneurs that are active in wellness, beauty, preventive health, sport, nature and sustainability and we’ll launch InmoCalidad which is the new platform that offers the one and only quality mark for trustworthy Real Estate Agents on the Balearics.

In the coming months, we will invite these and many other inspiring people to join our discussion panels and engage with you and each-other on how to enhance Ibiza as a whole. Together.

Coming Saturday the 31th of March 10.30 – first introduction to Restyling Ibiza

Director of Tourism of the consell d'Eivissa Vicente Torres will kick off with a speech on Ibiza 3.0

He will answer these questions:        

- What are the latest developments & goals in tourism?

- Which type of ventures are the perfect add-on to the desired year-round success in tourism?

- Which (changed) regulations are something to be aware off as entrepreneurs in tourism?

- And last but not least, how does this “new” Ibiza fit into the cultural heritage it already has? Which aspects will stay the way they are and what are you hoping to see changed in the coming years?

After that we will introduce some of Ibiza’s greatest game changers:

David has lived on the island for almost 30 years and went from an all-round driven business man to idealistic publisher. Of course, we want to know what drove him to making a positive newspaper, but we really look forward to hearing his perspective on ‘Restyling Ibiza’ as well.

Love Ibiza Now

These two ladies are a true example of creativity on Ibiza. Ana-Lui, being the most successful photographer & creative business woman of Ibiza, together with Hjordis known as illustrator, pioneer and Art Director of Pacha Magazine and writer of the ultimate insider guide of Ibiza: MyIbiza.

Together they started ‘Love Ibiza Now’ and they have truly activated many people on the island already to follow their lead in making our beloved island more sustainable in many ways.

Es Wellness Ibiza

Coordinator of the platform of the consell d’Eivissa that promotes and showcases the activities and all legal businesses in wellness, beauty, preventive health, sport, nature and sustainability businesses on the island.

Join us at this festive event that will start at 10.30 and continues till about 13.00 o'clock. These inspiring Ibiza people will explain their view on things, tell you how you can engage with your business and there is room for a Q&A for you as entrepreneur.
